Sosna Psychotherapy
Sosna Psychotherapy is a private psychotherapy practice in Ajax, Ontario, established by Marta Gozdzik, a clinician with more than fifteen years of experience in the mental health field. Gozdzik trained in both nursing and counselling psychology and is registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. The practice offers virtual psychotherapy — by telephone and video — to residents of Ajax and across Ontario, providing a safe and non-judgemental space for personal growth. Sessions are built around each client's goals, with the therapist working collaboratively to foster positive changes in thoughts, emotions and behaviours. The approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, drawing on five broad modalities of psychotherapy and a range of evidence-informed strategies, including solution-focused, existential and narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural and dialectical behavioural techniques, and body-oriented skills. Appointments are booked online through the practice's scheduling portal, and clients are advised to check with their insurance providers about coverage for psychotherapy services. The practice publishes Friday hours of 9am to 3pm. Individual sessions are priced at $150 for sixty minutes and $225 for ninety minutes.
